Last Hero Standing: Karen Marie Moning, Final Round.
We're nearing the end of this month's last hero standing challenge and all month long, the last two heroes have been battling it out. It's pretty funny how I'm used to fighting it out with the Drustan fans out there, not the Jericho fans but there are many Jericho fans out there I most definitely need to finish out that series to see what makes him so swoonworthy. I have no doubt that he is but I just need to see for myself.
The last two heroes that will be battling it out for the top spot this month are:
Jericho Barrons from The Fever Series and Dageus MacKeltar from The Dark Highlander
You guys have until January 30th at 11:59pm to get your votes in. Make sure you do all you can to help your hero win, email your friends and family, have them come and vote for you. The matter of who the last hero standing is in your hands.

I voted for Dageus - cause I loves me some Dageus! - but I was torn...so very, very torn. :-D
And Lorelie is right...that's the line that makes Barrons swoonworthy.

Dageus. Wasn't much of a difficult decision for me. I like Barrons, but Dageus wins. Maybe after the Fever series is over it'll be a more difficult decision.

But, I am defiantly a Jericho girl right now. I am itching for the last book in the series and my mind is constantly on JZB himself and trying to figure out what he is.

Aww what a tough choice. I'm going to have to say Jericho. Just because I can read about him in so many more books and still have one yet to come. ;p I'm dying to read the ending of the story then I'm sure I'll reread it again and again. ;)

Can you make the choice any harder? I love Daegus and I love Barrons. Do men like this really exist? I however had to vote for the very daring, exotic, and dangerous Barrons. I can't wait to see how many ways he can save our heroine Mac and figure out who she will fall for in the end...cause she has to get one of Moning's Hotties right??

Who could make a choice like this? Jericho on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Dageus Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Sunday would be fun day...

I am voting for Jericho. I like the mysterious, secretive brooders...in my fictional characters, that is...not so much in real life. Jericho is the master of secrets and brooding!
BUT - I ♥ Dageus, too!
I have to say Barrons! His character is much more complex. I love the mystery and slow reveling of his dimensions. Dageus would have been one of my all time favs before Barrons. But by far the Fever series has been the best series I have ever read, mostly because of Barrons... and the intriguing ways he and Mac interact.
Oh---this is so tough, they are both my favorite...can I have a Dageus/Barrons sandwich please? LOL I think I have to vote for Dageus on this one....but tomorrow I would probably change my mind!

Love them both but Barrons wins hands down. Maybe because he is such a large part of the Fever books. Lorelie left her quote, so I have to leave my favorite, " Do you miss f*&%ing me, Ms. Lane". It's not the words, its the pure sexy confidence and the hint that he misses her.
In my humble opinion, Barrons wins by a landslide.

Barrons is my hero! He is just so cynical! And you know he must have a soft spot WAY WAY down but finding it is all the fun! And lets just face it, I've been married for 13 years and your last book made me blush! HOT!

Had to vote for Jericho -probably because he makes himself so unattainable.
Karen has a way of making her men larger than life not to mention absolutely beautiful....and although I loved Dageus...my vote goes to JZB. Any man that will put together a whole room, dance naked to tub thumpin' and paint my toenails wins hands down!
I love of all of KMM men but Jericho(JZB) is my favorite!!! He gets my vote!!
If you'd asked who's the sexiest Highlander ever, it would be Dageus hands down (I mean, and having the twin thing, YIKES!!) I love those MacKeltar boys.
But, Jericho Barrons stole my heart with Darkfever. He's so hot, with a domineering presence, he knows what he wants and might play dirty to get it. It's that bad boy thing. LOL

With Dageus, Karen allowed you to know his conscience, but with Barrons she is stingier than a kid with an ice cream cone - "mine!" Until Karen reveals who the real JB is, I am going with Dageus.

This is a fate worse than death. How can a girl choose?! Of all the heroes and ani-heroes in KMM's books, I'd rather be horse whipped and chained. To both of their beds.

oh goodness... i LOVE Barrons, but Keltars will always have a special place in my heart. With that said, DAGEUS ALL THE WAY!!
