May New Releases

New Releases for the Month of May!!

It's an exciting month for romance fans across the globe because we've got great new releases coming out from the likes of Loretta Chase, Diana Palmer, Sabrina Jeffreys and other fantastic authors. So there are lots to look forward to. The following books will be released this month and I can't begin to tell you how excited we are!

1st- Not Quite a Lady- Loretta Chase
1st - Raintree: Inferno - Linda Howard
1st - Cover of Night - Linda Howard
1st - Outsider - Diana Palmer
22nd- Beware a Scot's Revenge- Sabrina Jefferies
29th - Last Look- Mariah Stewart
29th - Sun, Sand, Sex - Linda Lael Miller, et al (Anthology)

Loretta Chase's new book is the fourth installment in the Carsington Brothers series and it promises to be just as great as the other books. It's Darius' book and the back cover has this to say about the book....

IRRESISTIBLE FORCE
Darius Carsington is a spectacularly handsome rake with a rare intelligence and no heart, a man who divides his time between bedding loose-moraled women and writing scholarly papers. He finds society's “perfect darlings”....exceedingly boring. But there’s something intriguing, and not quite perfect, about faultless Lady Charlotte Hayward. He senses a crack under her polished surface, and finding it is a temptation he can’t resist.

IMMOVABLE OBJECT
Lady Charlotte is so beautiful, charming, and gracious that no one has noticed what an expert she is at Not Getting Married. Early on, she learned a painful lesson about trust....and temptation. In the years since, she’s devoted her life to all she ought to be--and she’s not about to let a man like Carsington entice her to do everything she shouldn’t.

A SPLENDID COLLISION
But the laws of attraction can easily overpower the rules of manners and morals, and sometimes even the best -behaved girl has to follow her instincts, even if it means risking it all.

If that's not enough for you, there's more books, we promise.

Linda Howard has two releases, the paperback addition of Cover of Night and the new book in her Silhouette Nocturne line titled Raintree: Inferno.

The back blurb for this one:

Two hundred years after the Raintree clan defeated and abandoned them on a small Caribbean Island, the Ansara wizards are rising again to take on their bitterest foes. Despite their extraordinary powers and supernatural origin, the Raintree have largely blended into the modern world. They are bankers, cops, husbands, wives and lovers in the society of humankind. But now, from Nevada to North Carolina, the rejoined battle will measure the endurance of their people. It will test their loyalties and relationships. And it will force upon them all new lives they could barely have imagined before.

This one has gotten mixed reviews already with lucky readers who have gotten ARC of the book so we'll post some links up to the different reviews and let you make up your own mind as to whether you'll give this new LH a shot or not.

Diana Palmer's new book Outsider is anxiously awaited by her fans. Here's the blurb.

After losing an arm, Colby Lane can no longer work as a mercenary. His second wife, Maureen, repulsed by his loss of limb, has left, but at least he has quit drinking and is ready to become assistant chief of security in a Houston oil firm. At 17 Sarina Carrington was married to Colby for less than 24 hours: he disappeared after a disastrous wedding night. Unbeknownst to Colby, Sarina was pregnant. Since Colby is Apache and their child has mixed blood, Sarina was kicked out of her rich father's house and ended up living in poverty with her asthmatic daughter, Bernadette. Colby doesn't know that he has a child and is unnerved by Bernadette's finely honed psychic powers, powers not unlike his own. Palmer has taken a wounded protagonist and deftly turned him into a true hero and a genuinely likable human being. Palmer's talent for character development and ability to fuse heartwarming romance with nail-biting suspense shine in Outsider.

Sounds pretty good, eh?

Izzy is a fan of Sabrina Jeffrey's so her new release this month is something she's looking forward to, we're sure. The book is called, Beware a Scots Revenge.

"Someone's going to call your bluff someday, Venetia -- you'd better hope it's not a handsome man."

-- Mrs. Charlotte Harris, headmistress

Lady Venetia Campbell's visit to her childhood home in Scotland takes a dramatic turn when she's kidnapped at pistol point by her father's sworn enemy. Sir Lachlan Ross is widely feared in his guise as The Scottish Scourge, but Venetia remembers her former neighbor as a handsome youth whose attentions she craved. Now a wickedly sexy man, Lachlan's appeal is even more intoxicating...and much more dangerous. Though Lachlan tries to treat her as his foe, his scorching kisses tell another story. And despite his plan to use her as a weapon against her father, Venetia is determined that Lachlan's lust for revenge will be trumped by an even more powerful desire....

Ooh, Lachlan is a sexy name!!! This book comes out toward the end of the month!

Then three books come out on the 29th, all from different authors and all from authors that have a great fan base.

Last Look by Mariah Stewart is a romantic suspense that will probably have you all amped up and ready to solve the mystery.

Last but not least, Linda Lael Miller has a new anthology coming out titled, Sun, Sand, Sex and that looks like all kinds of hot hot hot!!!

There's something for everyone to look forward to this month, don't you think? Every month, we'll try to do a New Release post for the new books that our favorite authors will be coming out with.

So that there will always be something to look forward to!
